True Blood Season 3 on DVD

Alas, I have to report that the True Blood Season 3 DVD release for Australia has been rumoured to be around May 2011!! So i wont expect it in my santa stocking this year for Christmas! :(

Yes!! I have found yet another Paranormal Romance series 

involving Vampires that I absolutely love!!!

The Southern Vampire Series by Charlaine Harris A.K.A True Blood Series on HBO.

 (or for Australian audiences it is on Austar on the Showcase channel)

I have read 8 of the books in this series so far 

and I'm always excited to read the next one!!

I am currently reading the 9th book in the series, Dead and Gone.

I must say this series is very different to the other Paranormal romance series I have read! This series has alot more adult content (eg. sex & swearing etc.) But the story lines are gripping and encourage you to turn the next page and then read just one more chapter!! So of course, I had to check out the True Blood series on DVD.

 I bought the first series from Kmart. 

WOW!!  It was so close to the books it was scary!! I Loved IT!!!!

The casting was perfect!! Sookie is played by Anna Paquin (who is great!) and her brother Jason is played by Ryan Qwanten (Aussie fans would know him as Vinnie from Home & Away, years ago) who looks so HOT!! Time has done him well!! Needless to say, next time I'm in Kmart I will be buying the second series!

Eclipse: the Movie

I was lucky enough to watch the brand new movie edition to the twilight saga: eclipse. I was certainly NOT disappointed! It was everything a twi-hard (like ME) could have asked for!! As you may know, I'm Team Edward all the way!! And he was his usual impressive self!! He was so romantic and loving, he really is the perfect guy! I hope the men watching had absorbed some of that to try with their girl! (trust me, it will work!) The fight scenes with the werewolves were amazing and action packed! We learnt alot more about Jasper and Rosalie from their first life! I wont give away too much,
 you must go and see it yourselves!

A press release from Summit Entertainment has confirmed that

Bill Condon will direct The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn!!

Bill Condon is well known for writing and directing Dreamgirls, Kinsey and

Gods & Monsters for which he won an Academy Award for best adapted screenplay in 1999.

Stephenie Meyer author & producer of the Twilight series is said to be

very excited to be working with the director.

And we are all VERY excited too!!
